Nowadays, there’s a seemingly endless list of things to worry about. Will I make it on time? When will I get the promotion? Is this too dressy for the party? For every moment we spend worrying about the future, there are so many more opportunities where we could be enjoying the present.
Lao Tzu once stated, “If you are depressed you are living in the past. If you are anxious you are living in the future. If you are at peace you are living in the present.”
Despite this wisdom, many of us spend more time stressing about what’s to come than simply existing right Now. What if we could change our mindset, and just focus on enjoying the present?

Our bodies naturally produce Cortisol. Although helpful for dire, “fight or flight” situations, this hormone isn’t designed to be active 24/7. When we spend large amounts of time worrying about the future, we naturally produce this stress-enabler.
In doing so, we’re taking a toll on our bodies that could be avoided…
